AGRICULTURAL MIXES
We offer a wide choice of leys suitable for most purposes. However please contact us if you need a ley to suit particular conditions and we will be happy to mix to your specific requirements.
To establish a new ley it is necessary to ensure that the pH is between 6 and 7, and that consolidation and a good tilth are attained. As a general guide, undersown leys will benefit from a general, balanced, compound fertiliser at 2 bags per acre after harvest. For direct-sown Spring, Summer or Autumn-sown leys 3 bags of the same will greatly assist establishment. The timing of ley sowing is very flexible until the end of September.
Listed below are our standard mixes – should you require a list of the constituents please contact the office. If none of the mixes meet your requirements we offer a bespoke mixing service and we will be happy to discuss your requirements.
